This stupid sport is the reason Speedchannel dropped FIA World Rally? This is what my country does instead of real rally racing? No wonder Tanner Pfoust is such a nerd.

I saw that happen live. Crazy. Worst crash I've ever seen a X Games. There were a couple of really bad crashes in the Moto events/practice too.

Wow! Had not seen that, but to Reggie's comment I used to watch a lot of wrc and f1 but had to wean myself off it when I cancelled cable tv. I do miss the footage and especially now that my son is old enough to appreciate good auto racing (ie not Asscar) I appreciate the heads up regarding Speedchannel in case I sign up for pay tv again.

I was shocked when i saw that vid, i didnt know this kimda stuff existed... it s truly unhealthy and nothin in line with any kind of racing philosophy... it made me think of a full- size video game... but video games arent supposed to be real

Anyone remembers "Hard Driving"? that s exactly it...

Such a dumb sport, if you can even call it that.

Reminds me of this video:

That course was absolutely horrible - it looks like something from a kid's playset.

F1 has DRS, which in the way it is used is quite reminiscent of power-ups in racing games...on the other hand, this season actually is decent, with some very nice close racing - not the boring crap it was a few years ago.

This season of F1 has been better! I still think they need to get rid of the down force and race like the real men did in the 50's and 60's! I too miss the WRC on Speed! I would watch religiously every Sunday at my friends house! However, I think X Games has it's place in entertainment! Not as cool as WRC or Dakar, but fun to watch none the less!
