My RC10 rear sway bar solution

Hey everyone, so for awhile now I've had this vision for installing a rear sway bar on my gold pan runner. First, I looked at installing a B4 rear sway bar in the stock location. Problem is that with the B4 RPM cover, the cover blocks the sway bar and there was no way I could think of to install it around the cover.

Then, after seeing some of the newer buggies and how they install from the back, I thought, there has to be a way to do something similar.

Well, I ordered some 4-40 socket head screws with holes in them (a stock AE part), and some 8mm long ball studs, B4 sway bar kit and voila! Here is the end result:

I think that in reality its more for looks than function as I'm not sure that it really does too much - although I haven't had a chance to drive it yet so can't say for sure.

If anyone wants to do this, a couple of tips: 1. You will need to enlarge the openings in the screw holes with an knife just slightly.
2. You will have to use the smallest sway bar in the kit
3. You need to straighten the first part of the sway bar then bend it back after its through the screw holes
4. Mark the spots on the rear arms before you drill and make sure they are roughly the same on both arms

Let me know what you guys think!
