RC12E WITH NOVAK 610-HRV battery choice!!!

Hey guys ebay has a venom 8.4volt 3000mh with deans connector. Is that too much for a novak 601-hrv speed control ? I had a tamiya pan car back in the day I used 9.6 v but it had a resistor type speed control.

6-10 cells is what this can handle. that means it can accept 10 cells at 1.2V each for a total of 12.0V max input.
i would say your in the clear with that pack. That thing is going to scream with the extra cell though.

Your help got the car close to be running . Front ends fixed , battery on the way 8.4 volt.
on-road forum is truely the best on the site !!!! THANKS VINCE
