Tips on trimming bodies?

I have gotten ahold of several used rc10 bodies in the past year through various lots. No 2 seem to have the body post holes drilled in the same spot, nor the same distance apart. The body always seems to have to stretch or bend to get it where you could actually get a pin on the post. Many of them have had the mounting point ovalized to get it to fit. Some have a ton of clearance around the rear shocks, and one I got had just a small section cut out so you have to bend the rear of the body and tuck the flaps in behind the shocks.
There was one NIP body I did cut up(It's been almost 2 years now), I agonized over where exactly to put the holes.
Does anyone have any good tips for trimming and drilling?
I wish the AE bodies were molded more like the Jrx-2 body, the entire body was outlined with a ridge, and all the mount points are marked.
Maybe we'll get lucky and get to practice on some NIP bodies soon if AE gets their act together.
Thanks,
-Anthony

Yah, I have lots of trimming tips. I got to the point where I could pretty much make ONE cut with an X-acto knife and trim the entire body out—snapping off the whole base of the body mold in one ceramic tile "SNAP".

I'm weeding through all of my photos of the crap I just shot from this lot right now, but I will put something together for body trimming tips & tricks.

:D
