I just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to the forum. I've been lurking the site for a while now and think it's great and have found lots of useful info. I got into R/C probably around '87 with a Tamiya Grasshopper and started a life long addiction. I've recently longed for the cars of my youth, and of course I kick myself for selling most of them (including an original Tamiya Bruiser). I have owned and raced a gold chassis RC10, a B2, and a T2. The RC10 has always been of my favorites and I'm currently looking to buy one and restore it, and probably run it. I don't think I could own one and have it sit as a shelf queen. I'm also in the process of looking for parts for a Schumacher Cat 2000 E.C. which hasn't been run in about 15 years. I also currently own a HPI RS4 Rally and a Traxxas Slash. Anyway, hope to learn from you guys here and build some cool cars.

Welcome to the board. I am a fan of the rs4 rally myself. Does yours still run?

Right now my RS4 Rally hasn't been run in a long time, but i'm in the process of putting it back together. I don't have the inner shell to it anymore so I'm not sure I want to run it as a rally car, I may just make it a street/drift car. I've got all electronics and all parts i need or on the way, I just need to pick out a body and tires.

I did not think I wanted a shelfer either. Now I need more shelves and still have not finished a runner.

Welcome!

Thanks for all the welcomes guys, I have seen some incredible RC10s on the site. I'm having some flashbacks to my youth and miss the days of R/C cars made with metal parts instead of all plastic, brushed motors and nicad batteries. I'm now trying to decide whether to buy an RC10 as a project or piece my own together. I do have a chassis but it's pretty beat, I was building it as an RC10DS so I do have somewhat of a base to begin with.
