The riverhobby vrx1 e is excellent value and reliable if in correct spec. It is distributed well by ace hobbies Australia and in uk too I believe, they're a generic factory model but the only known problems so far I'm aware of we're centre duffs which have been rectified. Or just upgrade to brushless a name brand nitro or convert an 8ighte or rc8e to truggy. Have you contacted your Lhs?. Check on rctech also. Maybe serpent or X-ray do a brushless truggy. HPI have the flux.

You could always convert a nitro truggy to electric, There are brushless conversion kits avaliable for most of the 1/8 Nitro Truggies. If I was converting one it would probably be a Mugen MBX6-T, Mainly because it's not really hard to find Mugen parts.

I thouht so. Like I did with the Tamiya, but it would be more expensive.
Yes, that Mugen looks great, pity there`s no ECO version..

You could always try finding a used one in decent condition. I personally refer buying a project rather than a shiny new kit most of the time.

Not sure how distribution is in Spain/japan, but I have an RC8TE and I love it. Can't say the same for my electronics that were in it, but when it did run, it ran really well. Here in the US though, its easy to get Associated stuff.
Other choices:
-Mugen - Obviously a good choice
-Hobao - AKA Jammin/Ofna
-Losi - Eh, not a fan but still good
-Hot Bodies- aka HPI Japan

RC8Te. Or a RC8T and convert it to electic. They share a large number of parts with the RC8 - and a lot of the newer 8.2 parts still fit. Obviously, there are truck specific things on them - but parts are still readily available. I picked mine up as a basher to replace my eRevo and wouldn't trade it for the world.
