RC10GT tranny -> direct fit to tub?

Post by Chewbacca »

Does anzbodz here know if the GT tranny fits directly to the stealth holes in the tub chassis? I am thinking about a project for my carbon tub chassis, but WILL NOT drill new holes to that jewel!

Thanx, Chewie.

I am pretty sure that the GT Stealth is NOT a direct fit in the electric chassls.

i don't know what your building, but a gt trans doesn't except a motor plate, if your making something electric.

nope. the gt tranny has its mounting screws alot further apart than a stealth and uses 6 screws instead of 4 anyway.

thanx 4 the info.

I am / was planning on making a RC10 mid motor conversion something like the X-6. Making mz own motor plate would not be a problem. I know there's that tekin kit available, but then I'd have another spare chassis....

We'll see what I do..

those tekin chassis' are sold out. they're no longer on the website. your best bet is to just use a stock stealth trans, spin it around, reverse the topshaft, and motor plate. oh, and put the bulkhead to the back.
