Ok, so had a little of paint and lexan left over. It's all paint but ran out of white....so put some vinyl for now on the inside. I'll remove and add paint later. Still have a little trimming to do especially around the Sprint nose...wasn't too happy with the way I had to mount it. What were they thinking when they put the headers on the way they did. AGH. Through a GTB, DODC spec battery and motor to play Friday night against the B4 based street stocks. lol.

this is not my car but I remember from when I had my first RC10 if your using the original rear wheels you could use a cap from a 1 gallon milk jug and they fit pretty snug.

Not a bad looking modified to me. I have a Barefoot Bob car in the works. Just starting to gather parts for the project.

Dads job relocated us in 84 to NC. He moved back to NY in 86. Me and my sister would visit during the summer. Dad scored for DIRT at the time, so 3 out 7 days were spent at the track. I have been to Weedsport, Rolling Wheels New Venture, Oswego and OCFS my home track. Barefoot was and still is my favorite driver.

New Venture changed it's name back to Utica-Rome Speedway after a couple of years. Besides running Dirt cars, they also experimented with ATV oval racing, mud trucks and a tough truck course. I believe Jack Johnson had a partial ownership in the track during the New Venture era.

Back from the dead. Well a couple of updates. Before deployment I ran it at a local outdoor oval and backed her into the wall. It was running really good at the time against the street stock class (all B4 with Novak 17.5 systems and set gears/tires). Well apparently I was sold the wrong lexan and the deck was cracked. So the car went back to shelf duty. Fast forward to now.

I didn't like how the deck lined up especially to the AE Sprint nose. So back to the drawing board with .20 lexan. But I only redid the deck as I was pleased with the rest of the car. I think it turned out better than expected. I put a little vinyl on the side of the RC10 as to blend in better. Now I just need to rebuild the shocks and send it back to the track to play. Sadly no street stock class to run against so it'll just be getting it on the track and staying out of the EDM and Sprinter's way!!!!

Still haven't cleaned it as I like the dirt on there.
