I remember them but have never seen one in person. I don't know how well they would handle brushless.

always drooled over them but never saw one in person. simple design, same basic concept still used. I bet they work great! Until you try using reverse

I forgot about the reverse part. I think you could only go forward with them. The other problem was once it was attached to your motor, they didn't fit much due to the added length.

I think the only suitable motor for this 2 speed thing is the Tamiya short motor for M-cars......

Never seen that .

I would have killed to have that for my T/Optima back then.

Interested how well they work also. I know there's 2 versions, one won't do reverse and the more expensive version will. There's quite a few of them on the bay.
