As I noted in my previous post I am quite the newb to this forum, but a long time RC10 fan. In my previous post I had mentioned I am getting an RC10 Nitro DS. Well now that I have the rc10 bug again I went to my dads house and dug around in some of my old boxes. I found my first RC car, a gold tub RC10 that I murdered as a child and want to restore now. Apparently as a child I was paint happy and painted all my white nylon parts silver and the gold tub black. Well, to my suprise I might have saved the old nylon parts by painting them. The paint chips off rather easily and they are pretty white underneath (bonus) after I clean the rest if they are salvagable I will keep them white, if not I am goign to dye them all black. The chassis on the other hand under all that paint was quite scratched so I have a special treatment for that in mind.

On another note, I am looking for some parts, and I also just scored some NIP parts from the old parts bin at my LHS that I will part with if someone needs them.

Parts I Purchased:

Front Inline Axles
Alum. Front Inline Axles
Black Inline Steering Blocks
Black rear Hub Carriers
Black Front Block Carrier 30 Degree Caster

Parts I am looking for.

Front Chassis Brace Bars
Rear Gold Shocks
Either a complete 6 bolt trans or all the diff pieces that mount outside the casing From the nut, to the inner diff that has the gear that goes inside the trans (Not sure all that entails )
Buggy Rims & Tires (all 4)

nice dude, i wish i still had my first rc10. i traded it for a haro sport bitd.
