Ok.. it's not an old Cougar

Delivered this morning ready for building this weekend.
I think this must be the first alloy chassis Schumacher since the Cougar 2, i'm looking forward to racing her this weekend. My slightly older SV will now be driven (hard probably) by my little girl
Paul.

These Cougars are very nice - I went the TLR22 way, but sometimes find my finger over the order button on a Cougar. Please update with some build pictures.

LOL Mick, i didn't get it built at the weekend, i was just too busy so i raced the old SV.
But, i did manage to get it started today, not much but i like to take my time.
Quite similar to the old buggy in many ways. I'm going to change the steering arms for the new alloy versions as this is the only weak point i kept finding on the old one. Just waiting for them to be delivered.
Paul.

Awe Mick.. what are you racing just now?
I built the shocks last night. I always think it pays to take time over these, especially to get them exactly the same consistency and with the same rebound.
Next it's the electrics, might not get that done until the weekend though.
Paul.

I *love* cars that are as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.

I installed the electrics at the weekend, it's a very very tight install compared to the old buggy.
Here's a comparison of my old SV versus the SV2.
The changes are quite subtle, but look like they should be an improvement. I've just got to get the shell painted when i get some time.
It will probably get run next weekend so won't look like this for long... I always feel the collector pang when i'm about to run a brand spanking new buggy for the first time. It always seems a shame to get it all mucky, but once it's been barrel rolled for the first time i usually reconcile myself that this is a car to be raced
Paul.
