You may have seen this one before...

Post by RedScampi »

I was ecstatic to pick up this Topcat from William this week. It is new built from parts and has an original body. This car is one of my grail cars and I'd have been happy to have one in almost any condition. Actually I have another one which I bought from a member that has a few major problems with the chassis, mainly many extra large holes, one being strategically located in the spot where the left side shock was supposed to mount. That, combined with the conversion to the Cougar front end made me wish for more. :?
William offered the box, then threw in the NIP wing, driver, manual and all the bits that normally are left over when you build a new car. Essentially this is complete less stickers! He also did a first rate job of assembly. Now to get that wing mounted... 8)

Simply stunning! I just love the clean lines of the TopCat..... A new built one like this is something I sure desire to own.... one day...

Will you finish it off & paint the shell? I must admit the car looks nicer with the bright white original wheels rather than the Trinity items  nvxwax - did you manage to pick these up direct from Schumacher?

Thanks gents! This is kind of a dream come true for me. This car I will be painting since the shell shows some shop wear from more than 20 years of banging around. I have a great scheme in mind that pays homage to the box art, without being an exact copy. Stand by!
