Ok here is my last project RC10, I think i have enough shelfers and i am on a mission to get my kids into RC lol, Anyway....

I got this project from Goatless a wile back, I still have to source a few parts but here is what i have done for now :) I only had a few options for tires that would fit the rims, The rears Duratrax traction slicks, I have a set of front traction slicks but they are way to wide for the rims, The diamonds mounted on the front dont look to bad...

I will be building a Thorp 48 pitch six gear trans with a few other hopups for the rear. Its all i have that is new lol

You going to strip a set of AE shocks to finish off that raw look? Maybe knock out an aluminium wing ?

Im thinking about it, I think removing the ano from a set of shocks and doing a light scotch-brite to them would match very well with the rest of the car, The alloy on this project is not polished, I wanted to keep it like you would have from the factory.

I might build another alloy wing for it, Ill have to make it a little smaller on this car, The one for the Ascot Sprint car actually broke one of the top mounts :(

Gorgeous car William! I really like these a lot. Nice to see what these looked like from the factory. There are so many variations, then add twenty years of mix and match...
I picked up a similar one last year but well used of course. Haven't gotten around to it just yet. Keep the pictures coming!

You need to swap the front caster blocks so they are on the opposite sides. Your wheels are leaning forwards right now. They should lean backwards. You'll have to grind off the lip on them to do it.

.030 or.040, Don't remeber exactly. RC Lohas has the car now. Totally regret selling it now. I also have a new pair of the Cheetah caster blocks left over from the build.

Not to pour salt, but I can see why! That's an absolute beauty! It may be gone, but you still did some great work there.

Small update on the BBT Project

I changed out the front tower for an original fiberglass part
Added Cheetah Wedges to the front
Installed satin polished .056 front and .071 rear shocks
Installed a Trinity Monster stock motor,, I know its just a stock motor but the colors work with the car and it was new

I did not have anything cool to use for a trans in new condition so i built a stock (kinda) 6 gear trans, The Trans has a Thorp Dirt Burners 48 pitch gear set, Track Master long diff shaft, Losi Diff Tube with bearing and a Buds Racing ceramic diff ring kit :) I have never seen on and have always wanted to use it on something.

Im still working on changing out the castor blocks, i get all kinds of binding if i switch them, i must be doing something wrong lol
