stealth question

Post by doitindirt »

Ive read a bunch of threads but cant find just what I'm looking for. What I was wanting to know is this...... I have a stealth tranny but just has the top shaft with no gear or slipper, will the newer slipper (that is being sold) or the custom works work. Also are the stealths rebuildable as in buying new parts or is it just a find on the bay kind of thing..... thanks in advance to any and all help

You can use the new slipper, but you have to get the new top shaft also. They both work.

Hey thanks, I'm working on a project too. I have started with some old used parts and trying to make something out of it. What all parts did you need to buy to convert it, so I can figure a price

Why does everyone use GT rear hubs? I used the stock ones with new bearings and cvd's. No problems at all.

easier to find plain bearings than 3/16 x 3/8 flanged.

that would be my excuse.

For me, I already have a hundred of those bearings, I would have to buy 3/16x3/8 flanged.
