Found this motor while diging in my old boxes>.....

Post by Mad Racer »

While on my holiday break i thought i need to get more organized with my vintage stuff.

So went diging in my old boxes & came accross this little gem.

Really can't remember when i got it but i use to race with these ( I had them custom modifed) so it may have been a back up motor as it looks new & never used.

Will go in my vintage motor collection.

You have what was in the old school, the best motor that Tamiya made. It only came in the top of the line rigs and it is the proper motor for the Avante, arguably the best looking old school buggy. It used to bring in the packaging around a hundred +/-. Now, it depends on who needs it and how bad. LOL! It did have replacement parts which meant the thing could be rebuilt and trued or even a new armature every few races. nice score!

Could You give us a closer look on the Corvette in the glass cabinet it looks NICE.

At that time all Tamiya motors were produced by Mabuchi, tecnhigold included.
I don´t now about today.

Thanks
