very nice, shiny! i look forward to the end results. i'm curious about the make of all those aluminum parts, even curious about the make of those ball cups.

ill make a list etc of where i bought most of the parts and make/models, most of them are still available minus the Hammad Ghuman shock parts and tranny brace, the ball cups are actually the Punisher Ball Cups that come when you order individual sets of the titanium turnbuckles, i think if you buy a kit they dont come with it.

btw dude, i considered running alloy ballends on my tuber but decided plastic ones were more forgiving since mine is a runner. i think i can remember you or somebody else recently asking about alloy ballends...

anyway, you can find them at rc4wd.com, they sell a couple different sizes, you may need to cut down the ends since they are made kinda long.

are you going to strip and polish the litesink too?

ive been working on the chassis for a while now, but ive also been very busy with work :(

pics arent much to look at right now, its about 20 peices of tubing on my desk lol

finally got my micro metal cutting table saw and i LOVE this thing for cutting tubing at angles and straight on, its a lifesaver lol
things should go much faster now

i tryed polishing a old litesink i had and it came out absolutely awful, unless there is some sort of secret to polishing that i am missing lol, the buffing wheel destroyed the heatsink, im assuming cause its a cast aluminum peice as opposed to a billet machined peice, it was soft as hell and got ruined. It actually came out decent and ill get some pics of it sometime later on lol.

i'm actually going to try and braze together a truck tube chassis here in a month or two, i keep on planning to go to home depot and pick up a dremel press and a table scroll saw of some sort, i'm tired of trying to do everything freehand on my lap with a cutoff tool... ;)

what is this micro metal cutting table you speak of?

its a micromark product, and the thing IS SWEET. i destroyed a 5pack of those quick release dremel metal cut offs and havent cut that much stuff yet, they are just weak. These blades are great, i bought 5 extra and the first is still in great shape. does perfect angles, and i was able to jigrig a "double tube holder thing" that will let me lock and cut 2 peices of tubing at the exact same angle.

a little loud for indoor use, at least late night indoor when everyone is sleeping lol

and they make a cheaper one, but when i asked the guy at micromark if this thing has any real power, he said it would easily cut the tubing but doesnt have a heck of a lot of real power, the other one above is way better for the extra $50
