My JRXT/LXT Hybird Runner!!!!!

I decided to give my Losi Truck a new look after a few yrs with a new shell & wheel combo.

It started life as a JRX/T & the previous owner added a heap of upgrades from the LXT. It has a full LXT suspension package. Has the Retro gearbox. I added a dual slipper arrangment to handel the insane 5.5 Brushless. I just adj the slipper to tame the low end punch. Down the straight the front wheels are just of the deck all the way as the slipper slowly locks up.

Apart from that it's a stock Lxt truck with a JRX chassis.

The new wheels are HPI stars. Body shell is a TBG with a custom wing.

Gee this goes so well & very fast around our Boondal track.

Comments welcome. Good or Bad .

the LXT is a moulded composite not a graphite pan? but just let me know I have a whole box of used ones.

Thanks for that.

This started out as a JRX2T and was heavily upgraded with lxt parts. Even a retro 2.61 tranny. Must have cost the previous owner a fortune to do it. So i thought i would leave the chassis as is. It turned out to a absolute nightmare. It took so long to get it dialled . I almost threw it away. I copied my mates set up as well ( Full LXT). After lots of experimenting with shock oils, springs, pistons, Roll centers, tires & what ever else that i could do.

All i can put it down to is the different chassis as every other part on it is LXT. I guess like the rc10 graphite to the alloy tubs. It has been well worth it as it seems to put the power down better than my mates LXT. One thing i noticed is it's a lot lighter in the spring/oil combo to the other LXT i run against. We have 4 LXT trucks and one rc10 T2.

Just thought i would share the nightmare

I use to race my LX-T with the T4's and it was a little faster down the straight, but a little slower in the tech parts. I loved mine but sold it to buy a T4 for ease of parts and everyone else was racing T4's it was easer to swap tires and set up with everyone racing the same truck.
