New Generation Stealth into an RC10

So I just bought a brand new stealth trans (2.65 ratio I believe) and discovered that it mounts differently. I went this route due to total parts cost being a lot cheaper for a new trans as opposed to piecing together an original one.
*I searched the forum and could not find this info but I thought I've seen this covered before....

Any suggestions on what to use to mount it up?

Are the new style rear arm mounts also part of the trans mount? It apparently needs some spacers; long spacers in the front, short ones in the rear so I can screw it in to the chassis?

Thanks alot guys!!!

I am new here, so I am still trying to learn, but having been in a spot similar to you (before I found a stealth with a case).
My suggestion is that you go with the RPM case and swap out the guts.
The RPM case has std stealth mounting holes, so if you're chassis has the stock stealth holes it's all you'd need.
It's about $20 and available several places.

Short of that, You can try and pickup some scrap metal/CF and use other chassis and the trans as a template to get the cuts and spacing correct.
But go that route and you also may need to address the dogbones/CVD's in the rear.

Please feel free to verify what I am telling you prior to the purchase as i don't want to give you bad information and set you back, but I am fairly confident on this one.

Good luck with the project!!

Just to be clear are you trying to mount a B4 stealth to an RC10...or is it that you're trying to mount an RC10 stealth tran to a chassis with only 6-gear holes?

Looking to put in a new generation stealth into an old RC10 gold pan, no holes for stealth drilled yet. Also looking to run RC10T CVD dog bones into the new Gen Stealth......

RPM case worth considering but spacers a lot cheaper!

I think the question still remains?

"New generation Stealth" = RC10B4 Stealth transmission

-OR-

"New Generation Stealth" = Stealth made for RC10?

(For the record, I got confused while reading too, )

There have been members who swapped in b2/b3/b4 with some creativity, so anything is possible. I think pictures would help for this topic( I like pictures).

In my short time on this board I've come to realize that if it's been dreamt up, someone has attempted (and usually completed) a build.

The search function (sometimes, keyword choice is finicky :? ) is your friend when you are new on here.
