Dual Motors? (6X4X2)

Post by hardenedways »

I seem to recall at least one vehicle where someone tacked on a whole tranny/suspension to the back of his RC10. (Making it have 6 wheels, 4 driving and 2 steering)

I looked through all my old RCCA back issues but I couldn't find it. Anyone have pics of a car/truck where this was done?

Thanks!!
Hobbes

Don't know that one, but I know a few years ago John Boyer (I think) built an awesome monster truck using two RC10T rear ends. He put one at each end of a huge truck, using the tranny and suspension, making one heck of a cool 4wd Monster Truck with independent suspension. I think it had Clod tires, but I can't remember all the details.

i remember seeing a tandem tranny rc10 chassis on ebay a few years back. but i dont have any idea where a pic of one would be. seems like that could be fabbed up pretty easy. especially if you used a stock front kick up piece.

I actually made one way back in the day. But alas no pics of it.
It was very easy to do, even for a hack like me
