Yup lucky boy, that was my first RC10 and the only AE seal I broke during the 90's, the second one was a B4 box in 2002.
So are the chassis battery holes aligned on the bulkhead? Is the front shock strut machined or stamped? And what about the gear cover? Late or early version?

Maybe the build stalled out when he saw all those nice unopened numbered bags.
I know for me it would be the ultimate stand-off.

Have this week off work and planned to get this started, but spent the last two days in bed with a fever. Feel like the devil has hold of me. Hope to start tomorrow guys, so apologies for keeping you waiting

Well, if building this kit means that I have the devil in me, I only have one thing to say;CamplinP wrote:It might be a sign.

Re: BNIB Team Car. . . . . Time to build it!!
I just looked at the opening pics.... I can't lie, I cried a little. LOL
I have opened at least a hundred of these... But the thought of cutting that little silver seal was always the the best part of a build that I could not stop till it was done. I always remember planning to build to a certain page... But get to the page and couldn't stop... Then I would tell myself, I'll get the chassis complete... Next thing I knew, I was glueing tires and charging a battery to test it out!
I used to manage a track and a buddy and me used to put down a lot of beer building and then testing all night long. It was always a competition to see who could get it built and running the fastest... Then the next night spending fixing the drunken blunders towards the end of the build, LOL...

This is great! Can't beat tearing those new bags open. Just take loads of photos so you can look back and enjoy...

Would you be willing to take some good pictures of the boxart car? Colour or B/W will work.
