Lazer ZX tires on Optima wheels - do they fit?

Are Lazer ZX(-R) tires the same size as Optima tires? So will they fit onto a set of plated Optima wheels?
Actually, to add to this and clarify: original Optima & Javelin wheels are only 1.9" diameter. The Turbo Optima/Salute wheels were 2".Hcp22 wrote:Yes... 2.2" vs 2.0"

Thanks, I was wondering even as I wrote 1.9" that it seemed they were quite a bit smaller than the T.O. wheels, but wasn't home to measure. That's what happens when I ASSume.Hcp22 wrote:Optima and Javelin had only 1.6”Coelacanth wrote:Actually, to add to this and clarify: original Optima & Javelin wheels are only 1.9" diameter. If you're interested, I might work out a trade--a set of front tires for a set of rear. I have a bunch of Turbo Optima cone-spike tires that are in very slightly used condition. I keep seeing step and pin spike tires for these cars but the cars I got all have these cone spikes. Maybe they're uncommon or rare these days...PM me if you're interested and I'll send you some pics.EvolutionRevolution wrote:Well, I got a full set of 2.0" plated wheels and a bunch of narrow front tires in a lot, but no rear tires. Are Marwan's OT-66 reproductions actually suitable to run on, or only for display?
You're right, I'm a veritable source of misinformation lately! Anyway, the reason why I said 2" is because 2" tires seem to fit Turbo Optima wheels just fine. Here are some 2" CustomWorks tires fitted onto Turbo Optima rims...they fit like a glove.Bimdapogs wrote:I thought the Turbo Optima and all the Optima Mid tires are 1.9"
