Any progress?
I've got the same thoughts. I'm thinking of retiring my gold pan and turning my T2 into a long wheelbase buggy since the transmission parts (out drives) are still available.
I might just slap a wing on it, some 2.2 buggy wheels, a Viper body, and call it a day.

My only issue at the moment is the universals are 1/4", not 3/16th, so my JC racing wheels won't fit. Fronts are perfect bearings and all from my 94C.E. Stealth buggy.

I'm debating on replacing the hub bearings and universals to 3/16th, but not sure how it'll look yet.
Was hoping you'd knock that out and post a pic of it.

Oops, other way around. Mine has 3/16, not 1/4. My bad.

the jc racing rc10 wheels are for 1/4" axles, so how do they not fit?

edit: or do they make them for the b2/b3 too?

Not sure about the OP's T2s, but mine has the 3/16" universals on it.
My JC Rears from my 94ce didn't fit. Fronts worked like a charm.
