My old is new project

Post by Ronborsk »

Started out on an idea to simply get an old rc10 with 6 gear tranny running again (with a hotshot chassis). Turned into this. Working on a gold pan klein build utilizing b44 cvd's and gt carriers in the back. Still a work in progress. Awaiting carbon fiber rear tower and tranny brace. Just thought I would share the "deep end" this forum has sent me off on! I believe the steering on this set up is the only thing I already had lol.

Great start!!

You think you went off the deep end, but you have just started. After a couple years you will end up with at least 3-4 more RC-10s in different stages of build.

This obsession just gets worse as time goes on.

Lol...

My history. First rc car Tamiya Grasshopper, then Hornet.
Finally original RC10. Raced it for years.

Other cars. B3, Losi XXX-NT, Hot Bodies Truggy, XRay M18, RC18T plus about half a dozen others I built for nieces/nephews. SC10 2WD, SC10 4WD.

Plus additional fixed up for nephew, Stadium Blitz, Traxxas Bandit.

Spent a fair amount of time reading these forums but just now getting on it. I am sure to be around for a bit...

Working too much to get this project finished but getting closer.

Stole a paint scheme and here is what it looks like as of now. Still need to paint a wing.

It will not be long before this project will be complete.
