So about amonth ago i had a little cash just burning away in my pocket.I was at my lhs talking to a friend and told him I was looking at used RC8's and also thinking about RC18's. Well he said he had a eight e he was done with. I asked how much,he said sixty,I tried very hard to hide my excitement .For sixty bux i got a pretty decent roller. I stripped it down,sanded the bottom of the chassis and polished it with a mother's headlight restoration kit .Painted up a body with the Jedi symbol as the design added a new wing and mounts.it already has all the aluminium front knuckles and chassis braces.Plan is for new rear hubs and a tekin rx8 setup.man those things are pricey,but I want some thing good and reliable.well here's some before and after pix.

Nice! I love 1/8 but havent run mine in close to a year now I think. 1/8 buggy is getting pretty big at the local indoor track right now.

nice polish job. i want a 1/8 also, they are bad ass. i agree that the 1/8th brushless is stuff is way to expensive....

Well i didn't order the Tekin set up I ordered the speed passion setup. ordered it friday morning,reveiws are pretty good on it and the price isn't too bad. I will post an update when it gets here.

Kayne, do you have a gallery of your different cars? I've seen the stormtooper car, now I've seen your Jedi car, I'd love to see what else you have accomplished, and when I get a little more comfortable with the mechanics side, and get to work on the artistic side of the hobby, I may try some similar mods/themes!

Didn't mean to turn this into a showcase. i just need to quite being so lazy and take some good pix of my rollers. I also plan on doing a republic version also.
