Hey guys, just found this great board over the weekend and I'm very excited to be here. My name is Tim and I have an old B2 Team car that I used to race back in the mid 90's that I'm restoring. I started with the hobby back in the early 90's with a Kyosho Rocky, then a 10T Team Truck and a 10DS (still have all three) and all will get restored eventually.

The resto on the B2 started out innocently enough, I was just going to clean it up real nice and get a new body for it but then I screwed up and checked ebay for parts. Well, I'm now going to have a basically brand new all carbon B2 with all the parts I've bought.

I don't have any pictures at the moment since it's just a pile of parts on my table but I'll update this thread after Christmas when I finally get a chance to work on it. I'm still looking for the B2 specific rear aluminum chassis piece if anyone has a line on one.

I look forward to spending time here and will hopefully get this thing finished some day! Then it'll be time to start on the next one!

Thanks but I've already bought one of those. It isn't like the original B2 only plate though. It's one of those things that just kind of bugs me since it isn't like the original on there now.

The B2 plates are around eBay and the bst from time to time, the 4/40 rear mounts seem to be hard to find though ( most are the 5/40 ). Looking forward to the progress after the holidays
