Boy you are not kidding about being rare. I have seen a couple on Ebay but they are slim picking on there! Not many parts show up for them either. I have seen some small parts lot appear and the usual parts that are on there now but main parts like chassis plates, gears, diffs, and body's you hardley see them! I want to get a Kyosho Gallop. It is the same chassis as the Progress but has a plastic roll cage instead of a lexan body. Below is a pic of a Gallop

Yes the Scorpion in the back ground is where I got the idea for the paint scheme on my Star Spangled Scorpion. I fell in love with that photo. I want to own clones of both the Scorpion and the Gallop. But I have yet to find a nice Gallop!

I got a sweet Gallop I got off of fleabay a while back. I paid real short money for it cuz the kid I bought it from didnt know what it exactly was. Auction ended early and I walked away a happy man. I polished up the aluminum, gave her a bath and she looks great. Its one sweet buggy, and it sits next to my Javelin. I love the tube frame buggys. I got to get some pics up, but I need to buy a battery for my camera. I actually have a nice little collection of vintage rc's. I even have a MRP High Roller, and anyone ever hear of a Mugen Bulldog? I have one of those too. Its a 4wd/4ws tube buggy. I just need a set of tires for that buggy cuz the ones I have are dry rotted.

BTW I do have some progress/gallop parts, so if you need something let me know and Ill see what I have.

Sweet dude! As soon as you get your camera battery I would love to see pics of your Gallop. I missed out on one about 2 weeks ago. Complete, buy it now of $100.00 but I had to many bills to pay that week and missed out on it. That seems to be one car that keeps evading me! Every time I have seen one I either do not have the money at the time or I just plain get out bid on it. I'll get me one one of these days. I opreciate the parts invite. I have a few parts my self for a gallop/progress. Stuff I got in parts lots with parts for my Scorpons. I have about 25 motor mount plates! Do you need one????? Or maybe two!?? :D I also have a couple of the orignal lexan motor covers for the Gallop. So I guess I'll return the favor and offer you the invite as well JR. If you need anything for your Gallop let me know bros. !

That one looks far from standard. Any details on it?

I believe that guys name is Sakura Tanatwo from Japan. ( I could be wrong on that name but it was all I could translate from his website. ) His collection of both running, and shelfed cars is unbeleivable. He does awesome work! ( I love his Scorpions, and Tomahawks. ) I envy his collection so much. Some of his cars are so nice words cannot discribe them. It is breathtaking! He has such good attention to detail. His entire site is worth checking out.

I would also like to know for the Mirage bodies... maybe he did a mold himself... those japanese are really incredible at replicating... maybe we should try to get in contact with one of them...
