"Red" dogbones don't fit into stub axles

I got these weird things for a project and when I got them, I see one end has a larger ball end than the other and consequently won't fit in the stub axle or trans output drive. They are supposed to be for an rc10, anyone know the origin of these things or ever use them?

post up some dimensions of the ball ends' diameters, the overall length from pin to pin, and the pin diameters.

OK, I'll post up a picture tonight. They're a tiny bit longer than stock but not so much that I can see them not working due to length.

The Yokomo 834 i sold the other day had dog bones like that, one end small and the other large and flat on the end, i thought it was a weird design, the only reason i remember it lol.

that almost looks like a losi "end" to associated "end"

yeah, that was going to be my suggestion. I was waiting on the dimensions on the ball ends to confirm......I believe traxxas uses a larger ball end as well like losi, but I think the models that use that would be too 'late' for a race prep accessory. maybe?

I almost bought a set like that last week but just before I clicked, I noticed the seller mentioned that one end was larger. I might be way off, but I'm guessing they aren't for an rc10. They look longer. And just holding my jrx2 next to an Associated gear box, the jrx2 is wider, so I would not think that they were a losi/associated adapter. Just a thought though.

They look like rear dogbones for a Yokomo YZ-834B; one end is wider and flat like that.

Yep, I was watching those too but the red ends scared me off. They were listed as RC10 bones but the RC10 bones I've seen have white ends. You should send the back as they were mis-represented as RC10 parts.

I sent them back and he was very good and prompt about refunding my money. Not sure if he relisted them or not.

it's been a looong time, so my memory may be failing me - Race Prep had parts for the AYK (Pro) Radiant. I want to say that their radiant dogbones had either red or orange ends(?)
