First time Ultima owner

Couldnt help myself on ebay this morning. Picked up a Turbo Ultima pretty much sight unseen (I'm at work and couldnt see pictures lol). Hopefully it doesnt arrive as a total basket case. I'll update as the restoration progresses :)

Very cool. You're going all in on this aren't you? LOL.

I actually have the Kyosho Trinity coming to me. Turbo Optima, Turbo Optima Mid SE and Turbo Ultima. Not sure which to do first LOL.

LOL I like those blind purchases... Was it the one that said it had a "makeshift body"? I was looking at that one earlier.

Yea, found a couple good deals and went for it. Actually found a Panda a bit ago too. Thankfully it was cheap.

Found a repro sticker kit for it today and I'll order up a body soon. There is a new chassis and upper deck on ebay right now but I've spent too much this week already lol.

Anyone recognize the speed control? Find myself another front silver wheel and I'm set for a little bit :)

Are those early RC10 wing buttons or did Kyosho use something similar? How awesome is that! Cant wait to start tracking down parts.

And a new bumper too! Was a bit cheaper than the one for the Optima build a while back but 10x what they sold for originally (after shipping) is still pretty tough to swallow.
