Who here is running a B44?

Wondering about gearing, lipos that fit, ESC setups, motors etc. I have one of these on the way can't wait.

I run a B44.1 - what motor are you planning on running?
Not sure if I can help much on setups though, I tend to run mostly on astroturf or grass tracks.
The majority of saddle lipos fit, when I had some taller than standard ones I just spaced the posts up with a couple of washers.

Thanks - I was thinking of running a Castle setup of some kind. Mostly because I'm familiar with it and have one in the RC10 gold tub already. Was wondering about gearing mostly and I'm just going to be bashing for now.

I love my b44. Like stated above the majority of saddlepacks fit. Get an idea for sure what gearing you'll be needing cuz I didn't. I have issues with mine and just never got around to doing anything with it. Handled like on rails and easy to drive. Fast and pretty durable for what it is...a rocket on 4wd steroids . You'll love it. drop some pix when you get it.

Thanks what's the stock gearing setup? I was thinking of sticking with a Gens Ace saddlepack. I've had great success with those lipos and they are so cheap too.

What turn motor are you looking at?
I run 22/81 on my 6.5, not sure if that helps

Well, I was thinking of getting the Castle 5700kv motor (which according to their site is roughly a 9 or 10T motor).

gearing reco is hard with bl as it depends on the mill brand and esc settings... 20/81 is about rightish for an average 7.5

Question - anyone else using the Gens Ace saddle packs? They don't quite fit flush, but I think it could work. Problem is the wires are hitting the top brace slightly.

Just dont forget to check the diff shims before running it, make sure it is snug fit and no play, else you will be stripping the main gears.learned the hard way.

I have one of the first kits and built it to the instructions and have yet to change a diff gear.The only thing thats been replaced is one front arm (my son was driving it and over shot a double )over all im real happy with mine.

Hey everyone, here is a question - I want to get a set of the Jconcepts Rulux wheels in white, and I noticed they come in a package of 4.

My question is - can I use the rear wheels on the fronts and just run 'rear' wheels all the way around? Is there any benefit to running narrower wheels / tires on the front?
