Newbie saying hello.
Hello everyone,
Thought I'd make an intro as I've been a 'member' since March but very inactive.
I'm one of the kids who grew up wanting an RC buggy but never got one, and then I found eBay and Tamiyaclub and it was game over!
My interests were always strictly Tamiya 1/10 and primarily the SRBs. I would have killed for a Sand Scorcher as kid! I bought a mint World's Car back in 2007 and then sold it for funds in 2008... Ever since then I wanted another RC10 and now I have 3 at 38 years old! I think the quality and design is simply awesome, which you really dont get exposed to over at TC.com! It's Tamiya or nothing. I picked up a pretty mint boxed version, a hopped up Sassy Chassis/MIP with modern electrics and a runner that I want to turn into an RC10 Scorcher. I've NEVER actually run an RC10 and cant wait to make that happen!
I'm mostly interested in the aftermarket parts that seem to come and go on ebay, which is where my Tamiya interests ended up too.
I recognize a lot of the user names here from TamiyaClub and I'm happy to have found somewhere with so much historical and technically correct info that I can refer to and learn from. I've decided to sell some of my Vintage Tamiya NIB's and stuff so I have some dough to play with in the RC10 space!
I'll post some pics and also put up some of my Tamiya's in the Tamiya section if that is possible.
Anyway, I look forward to contributing and being a part of this community.
Cheers
Paul
