So I picked up the car noted below from UltraHive. Looking to find a body that will cover it up. I was thinking it should take a 235mm pan car body, however the rear end is actually 255mm from sidewall to sidewall. The front end is 235mm across. The wheelbase is 260mm from axle to axle. Anyone know of any onroad lexan bodies that would work? I have been searching but can't find a 255mm / 260mm wide body anywhere. I don't think I can just use different offset wheels since if I push the wheels in any further they would hit the beautiful 5-link arms. I was thinking I could put a rat rod / street rod style shell on it to intentionally expose the wheels, but would like to see if I could find a full body first. Plus the 5 link might still interfere with that kind of body anyway. Thoughts????
Below is the car I have. It's the exact car.

I did a complete overhaul, swapped out the kits front carriers for JRX2 ones, and with a little modification, added a set of TRC RC-10 wheels and tires. I like it alot more then when I first got it, but Im thinning the heard before the move down south. Enjoy!
While you don't have BST access yet here is the advice I can get you- Parma ( I think ) made a Porsche 911/930 that fit this chassis very well- and I think that MrLexan had some in his business classifieds- you can contact him directly and find out-
one reason had no problem unloading mine. i did everything i could think of, besides having shorter rear arms made, to narrow my car up. the only body i could find that probably would've worked was a mcallister 300zx. wide in the rear, narrow up front.
If you do want to narrow it up by shortening the rear lower links, there's at least one easy way: Build new links from turnbuckles and Du-Bro captured ball ends. It’s how many adjusted rear toe. Might need to shorten the sliders some too.
Also there were foam wheels made for a direct fit, well assuming the pivot blocks are stock width.

it's a chassis designed around losi parts. you would've taken it anyway.
i don't remember what rear track width i got it down to when i was playin' with it. but, i put the axle spacer on the inside of the hub, as opposed to the outside which reduced it a little on both sides. i also used custom works dirt oval rims. i doubt they will work the five link setup though.

Your right besides I came after you to buy it.
I will find something for it. or use my McAllister Camaro Its a huge body, I orderd a McAllister Nissian I will check it out next week when it gets here. I will let you all know if it fits.
What is this mcallister camaro you speak of??? Back in the day when I had my original x2 as a kid in 90 or so, we ran onroad with foams, and I had an 80's style camaro body on it. Is that body or one that is similar available? I would be extremely interested. Please let me know!
yes it is the same one. it looked like a Iroc Z but the mould has be redone into something else. and you cant get them anymore. I have two nip I was thinking of makeing a mould, but havent had the extra money. I have someone to pull bodies it if I make the mould. I will dig them out tomorrow and see if they fit. I will post pictures
with narrow wheels I think it will work. I am going to finish putting my car together in the next few days and mount it up and see for sure. it fits my RC10 one great but this body is for my 10L
