My 2nd build, nothing really set in stone. The direction of the project will be determined when the chassis I bought shows up.
Team Buggy? Worlds Buggy? In any event, here's where I'm at:.

I haven't received the chassis yet, but I think it's a team car from the photos.
I bought lots of other cool stuff for this car so I'm really stoked...
-nice gold anno hardware
-Stealth transmission with full ball bearings & black motor plate
-Novak AM 75 Receiver (Polaris model)
I still need...
-viper body
-1 piece white wheels/tires
-Motor
Possibly a better Novak ESC
I should have most of the items later in the week

I have the chassis in my hands now, it's a B stamp. I cleaned it up and it looks pretty good - minimal scratches etc. Can anyone tell what ballpark year it was manufactured? I'm just trying to find out if it's a T chassis knock-off or an actual "team car" chassis? Nose and chassis does seem to sport the original black anno. Please heeeelp!

It's hit or miss with responses sometimes. Don't let that discourage you. I'm on here a couple times a day almost daily, but may only post once or twice. The RC10 buggy forum has seemed a little slow to me (not a lot of action) the last couple weeks to me also....
If all the T's were c-stamped, this might be an actual team car. The team car came out 1990ish just BEFORE the T's came out so that would make logical sense. I figured it was just a T chassis with a buggy front piece and in that thinking I could use all the extra dyed parts since it wasn't original to begin with. However, if it IS a team car it kind of changes my build plans as I would rather restore it to what it was and should be.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
6035 and 6036 Team cars were released in 1991, as was the 7001 RC10T- the early B stamps are identified by offset inline battery holes-
Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure what you mean about the holes, but I guess you're saying it's not a T chassis?
Well in any event, I think I'm going to build a team car with white parts. The shopping list will be a little longer, but I'm game I'm going to get started tonight, the black parts will used in the near future for my sons "build a model" Cub Scout project. haha

he's talking about how on A stamp and early B stamp tubs, the 2 holes for mounting the battery box were offset to the right. yours are inline, so it's not an early tub.
it doesn't matter if that tub started life as a truck, because it's the exact same one they used on the buggies.
OK, gotcha I'm glad I grabbed it, but unfortunately I see the rest of the team car being auctioned off - IE the alternating colors of mounts and hubs with RPM arms etc
I did manage to get most of the car swapped, popped in new bearings for the rear hubs, bought the Viper body, wing mounts/wire and a decent set of wheels/tires for it. More photos later in the week when I have it rolling.
Thanks for everyones help, much appreciated.

Well a lot was changed since I last posted, mainly due to not liking the black parts on the black chassis so the gold pan donated white parts to speed up the build of this car. The black parts went on the gold pan which will complement what I plan to do with that one soon (I'll update that thread today also).
I sourced the front shock tower and the missing transmission slipper parts, only a few missing items now - gear cover, the correct shocks, 1 piece wheels, universal CVDs and the wing that goes along with the viper body - If I overlooked something, please let me know. I put the Novak 410 in this car and the T4 in the gold pan. I'm still waiting on the Novak receiver. I think I'm making good progress, but there's still much to do. Photos

My NIP universals arrived so I'm quite pleased that I can cross that off the list. I'm doing my best holding off 1st run time untill I make another skidplate Still more to come I'm almost finished, well kind of lol

well, this one started out as a real POS, but it has been resurected. the only thing not new on the car is the chassis, nose plate, and the shock towers. the chassis was pretty rough so i threw it in the glass bead cabinet, stripped off the...
maybe some of you know me. It is some years ago, I had my last activities here on RC10talk.com. Many things was happen and now I am back on board with some of my RC10 projects.
First, I start with my latest built here. Enjoy!...
The Frog was one of my first real rc's and i still can't get enough of these things. I decided to do one with a used black king blackfoot frame i got in a parts pile, along with some old school hop ups like a thorp diff, parma shocks and nerfs, crp...

I'm a big fan of those rear and front shocks... 8) . Were they period hop-ups for the Frog?
Yes , they were made by parma. I tried finding a neon hose to match the rear but no go for now :)
Hello 10 talkers...It's been awhile since I've posted anything here. My local track closed, and life took me in another direction. Recently, I was digging through my spare parts and found I only needed a chassis tub and some odd pieces to build...
Hello all, I joined here a long time ago because I really like the RC10's. I bought a lot locally a few years back to restore, but due to the lack of time, it never took off and I ended up selling the lot to badhoopty. Well, I just scored this one...

I am in Canada. But I doubt I am going to buy it anyways. I need my money for the expansion of my basement track for my Kyosho Mini-Z's. :D
Hi everyone, new to the site. I have had a few RC10's over the years and I still have my early 90's Team car. I just picked up a vintage Gold pan with lots of extra parts, this seems to be the place to find all the info I am looking for to get this...
I haven't been on this site in probably 2 years, anywho I just received my next project in the mail yesterday. The best part of this one? /straight and clean motor plate, relatively clean chassis A stamp with no extra holes and very few scratches,...

After giving myself a reality check and adding up the cost of building it the way I want to I'm not so sure about using this particular car for a modern runner build. The only parts I would be using would be the pan and rear arm mounts. I might just...
