Sayings or phrases that need to die

I thought it would be fun to share what phrases, words or sayings that are being flogged to death online and IRL are annoying you. Here are some of my votes for things that REALLY need to be put to bed.
1. "REALLY??" Yeah, this just doesn't work in text like it does when Saturday Night Live pioneered this Seth & Amy skit...that was 4 years ago at least! And only now, it's becoming somewhat mainstream.
2. Douche/douche-bag. I remember this insult making the rounds when I was in junior high. Let's see, that would've been around '81, '82. It didn't really catch on then. Now, it's WAY too over-used. When radio personalities, newscasters and even PARENTS are flogging this word to death, it's time to put it to rest. It's no longer cool.
3. "Don't even GO there!" Sadly, people still use this phrase. It needs to die.
4. "FTW". One of the sillier acronyms I've seen.
So, share your thoughts and some that you find irritating.

I have a list myself but I'll go with "epic" just because Maddox summed it up perfectly.

I agree with all of the above. I'm mostly tired of text-talk stuff. Maybe that's where FTW comes from?

I agree with most, but douch bag works well for me when someone cuts me off.

"Really?" and "epic!" are seriously getting on my nerves
Oh and add "seriously?" on the list too

Good one. I think that will be over before the rest.

Nice selections. Here's my list of words/phrases that need to stop. BTW, I think douche/douchebag are awesome because they fit so well for those types. LOL.
Epic - so overused
Fail - ditto
My bad - um no
Surreal - this word is the ultimate overused adjective since 9/11
Off the (da) hook - dork x 1,000,000
Oh almost forgot:
Sarah Palin - Why, Lord, why?

I hear this all the time at work: "I got nothing"
My older brother has been using the phrase, "That blows me away" since the late '70's. He's 54

That damn "Green Lantern" movie trailer is getting a flogging on TV here.... and that phrase is right in the middle of the ad. Shoites me every time....

I hate the phrase "
and what not"
- Tim has no girlfriend because he spends too much time at the rc race track and what not.
"
Same diff", too, as in:
- "Would you prefer Coke or Pepsi?"
"Whatever, same diff"
(BTW, the correct answer is Coke. It's
always Coke)
