Iam restoring my vintage RC10 Graphite and have just ordered an EZRUN 3000kv brushless and ESC Combo, its only going to be used for a bit of fun and i am only looking at using some 3800mah NIMH rather than LIPO's.
I have a load of spare spurs and pinions and after a recommendation to run with this set up?

That would depend on what you are doing with it and track conditions etc. I think most of us use the dual slipper for our runners, I have never run a hydra but they do serve their purpose but I think are abit more maintenance.

We always ran 48 pitch 90 to 96 tooth spurs stock and mod with 26 to 40 tooth pinions. I liked the tooth angles better on the larger gears. I mostly ran Kimbrough spurs and Robinson racing spurs.
I just recently won a rolling RTR B4 for $51.oo USD off of ebay, :mrgreen: and I have been thinking about putting a brushless combo system in it. I don't think I will be racing it, although I have been asked by the local RC community if I wanted to....

I loved brushed motors. Brushless just doesn't have the character of nice modified wind.
