m-chassis (M-05) pinion stopper

I was given a very dirty/beat up M-05 pro last weekend. I'm almost done rebuilding it, and putting in the electronics. I don't have a pinion stopper to properly space my pinion. The older m-chassis' had an opening on the other side of the motor, but the m-05 does not, so I can't just eyeball it like I normally would.
If someone would be a lamb, and measure one if they have one? I'm looking for the distance between the arrows:

Thanks!

Metric and inches. I'm assuming you want the measurement that is from the base to the inside of the top. It's a bit tricky to measure but it's 17.5 mm or 0.7 inches.

Not bad... the caliper is set to 17.5mm, and the pinion is on the motor were I guessed it should go before you sent the measurements. :D
