xx4 vintage?

Could anyone tell me if a xx4 would be considered Vintage? If not what 4 wd buggy would be vintage .I would like to run one in vonats this yr.

The XX4 was released in 1997. The cutoff year for VONATS is 1994. So, Schumacher Cat 2000 and earlier, Yokomo works 93 and earlier or Lazer ZX-R and earlier are good choices.

are any of the other vintage 4x4 buggies shaft driven or are they belt driven too. anyone have pics of them also or know where i can find some.

would a hot shot re release be considerd vintage and allowed to race in vintage 4wd class....or even a re-re avante?
