Hi guys.
I have seen a lot of people painting their nylon bulkhead covers. What paints are people using that don't chip off easy?

another aussie on the forum, welcome dude!!! i have painted bulkhead caps in tamiya paint(non lexan) and it adhered very well. even used paint from super cheap also. best would propbably be epoxy or 2 pac, drop into a panel beater/paint shop and see if they are spraying a colour that week you like

Yeah I used Tamiya TS Flouro Paint BITD and its still stuck on lol.

If they're a light-colored nylon (I'm not familiar with Yokes), dying them with RIT dye or something similar would be more durable than painting them.

They are not nylon. This is why paint sticks well. BTW, do not boil (dying process) or put them in solvent to remove paint. = bad...

I boiled my first set in dye. I forgot to keep them attached to the bulkheads and as you can see by the picture, the cap holes are a little way off.

Update.
The Tamiya TS paint worked.
The rctech guys have seen these piccys already, but the paint came up very well. I am really happy with how it has stuck and gone on evenly. I just have to get my white parts back to white after a failed attempt to get them bright yellow.
