Try to carefully scrape them off then use a little Goo Gone to get the sticky residue off. Since you are going to paint it, when you sand, that should take care of any left over stickiness. If the decals are old and brittle, try a hair dryer on em first.

soak the hole body in Super Clean or purple power it will remove the paint and decals and wont hurt the body.

hi

once the decals are removed just spray the left over residue with wd40,let it soak a minute then just wipe off it works every time.

wd-40 is great for decals and double sided tape, hows the body looking? :)
