yes - mid motor french car (MRC) loosely based on the Kyosho ultima/optima suspension geometry. Was somewhat competitive in the hands of top drivers but always suffered reliability issues... Was then superseeded by the Santana which had 2x3 chassis but same underpinnings.

Nice for Frenchies... curious a Brit is even thinking about buying one

tons of info here incl instruction manual

Interesting car...the gearboxes as plastic-between-metal-plates sandwiches is reminiscent of the Mugen Bulldog.

My love affair with all things Thunder King means a permenant search for MRC threw it up at 99p start bid and in the UK

Just in case... the MRC you're so in love with has nothing to do with that MRC... this one is Model Racing Cars, it's French, and it's one of the oldest RC companies still in the business, it dates back to the early 80's and started with mostly metal-made, entry-level 8th offroad cars that flooded the market back then...

The last one is trailing arms with internal belts for the drive, exactly the same as the Garbo frog jeep I had
