I remember seeing this add years and years ago in RCCA. It left me thinking there might have been a 'TURBO' version of the AlienMid4.
Any theories on this one guys?

Turbo with Rock'n City wheels and Zerda bumper
As far as I recall, never seen this one in Europe... It looks like an "importer special" kinda version.
Awesome scan though Jason!

Yeah - an importer "special".....getting rid of 44b wheels and bumpers ....pretty smart!! LOLOL It even says in the add that it is "Dr J's" tricked out version of the car.

"Ă„nti plow" front bumper that looks like a snow shovel!!

Gotta love the 80's!!
There was no "Turbo" invader from Hirobo. Although - its a pretty cool looking buggy side on!
10 points to "Dr J" for trying to get them out the door!
Cheers

I love my Hilux's - my second favourite of the 44b's. The wheels look freaking cool!!
I have 3 NIB Hilux's- one kit without a body - if anyone has a good Hilux body or a new one - I am sure I can make it worth your while to part with it - I want to build an run a hilux again!
Cheers

Exactly why I sold mine... was making me sick not finding a body, so off to ebay it went, where it sold for a miserable $100 something...
Oh well.

Maybe you could look at having one of your nib kit bodies repro'd?
