I have seen it twice in person, once very pronounced and once very subtle. It was very serene and moving to observe and I hope to travel to Northern Canada soon to see it again!

Awesome for sure and killer video quality, but the only places to see that are cold enough to turn your sack
BLUE.
After the Winter we've had here I'm ready to look into the sky and see this...

That's not entirely true. One doesn't need to travel to the Arctic or Siberia to experience the aurora borealis. We can see it quite well here in Alberta on crisp autumn evenings, you just gotta drive about an hour away from the major cities and the city lights.

I have seen it many times growing up in rural upstate NY. Very beautiful indeed.

It is something to see! The first time I was awestruck. I have seen it a few times now in Calgary, but is best to see outside of the city lights in the country, 15 minute drive for me!
The Japanese tourists have a big thing for it! A goal in life for them to see I think!
