I need to get a lipo voltage tester and want to know what you all have had good luck with. I know they are simple devices and it should not matter much but I want it to be accurate and durable.

I have the hyperion sentry. It's about 30$ and is awsome. It tells you voltage for each cell, The whole pack, and a percentage of how much life it has in it. It's also very small . The best thing in my tool box lol

I just use a multi meter. I think I bought mine for $10. It's not as simple as a dedicated lipo meter, but it's a good tool to have in your toolbox.

Thanks guys. I have a multi-meter but was looking for a smaller simple lug type. The Hyperion might be what I am looking for.

I use a HobbyKing Battery Medic.
It gives you individual cell voltages as well as pack voltage. I also sometimes use it for balancing and storage discharging smaller packs.

I use one of these. Does everything you need it to do, is small and lightweight, and very simple to use.

I have one of these in the pit box for a quick go/no-go check of the battery.

if I want to know exact voltage of a cell I plug it into my charger (which has a built in balancer) and the charger will display individual cell voltage.
for running vehicles with non-lipo cutoff esc's I use a small alarm that plugs into the balance port. Lights change from green to red and Makes a loud enough noise to let you know to stop.

These are great if you mount them so that they are visible through a 'window' in the model. The visual change from green to red gives you nudge to bring the car back in straight away to avoid over-discharge.
