i dont know if its the whole vintage thing but im slowly going backwards instead of forward and im using a lot more brushed motors (just killed my last bl system) have you guys found any good sites to still find a wide selection of parts and such. im at that point where i might even pick up a comm lathe and a brush cutter too.
ive found some stuff at tower and a-main but not enough considering ive got all kinds of funky motors
I don't know how good they are but they're one of the few places left that still sell brushed motor parts so I figured I'd post the link. Something tells me they don't actually manufacture any of it so you're probably safe in that regard.
I too find myself lately looking for more brushed motors. I was putting brushless in everything but nostalgia is winning, I am sure I will go back and forth.
A while back, Kyosho had a garage sale. I picked up a few bags of 100 brushes just for rebuilding my motors. I am thinking of grabbing a comm lathe too. I haven't been able to find a cheap source of springs, though.

ya know what i ran my 27x2 w/ a 5k lipo in my blue eagle sunday during practice and it was god awful slow but was a total blast! was out there for atleast 30 minutes before i brought the car in. there's a lot to be said about nostalgia and out driving a bunch of brushless slash 4x4's and rusty's that were out there goofing around. speed is overrated (says the guy who runs oval)
im picking up a bunch of old brushed motors from a local racer this saturday and i may be trying to haggle for his comm lathe too
Took my RC10 Graphite out of storage.
Has the old school brushed motor.
Is there still a place that I can buy replacement brushes with terminals and springs?

Bought 3300kv motor. Perfect! Can bash without breaking parts.
Had a 9 Turn 52,000 rpm back in the 90's. Was way too fast. Battery would last 3 minutes!
I know there is no where that does it cheap but is there anywhere anyone has delt with on here that they had good luck with cheapest place i found to annodize 4 aluminum spring cups a motor plate and a graphite rear bumper was $100 and thats is i...
Does anybody have any recommendations for custom anodizing (personal good experiences etc)? I'd like to find a place with decent rates and a good color selection. thanks for any help.

Hi all,
I have an RC10T that I raced at the RCPRO Series Cabin Fever Race.
I qualifed 2nd and placed 2nd in the main. 1st was taken by Chris Bridgewater a sponsored AE driver with a GT2 and a tire change in the main.
The thing handles awesome...

Yup, RCPRO is allowing electric in 1/10 gas truck and Monster Truck.
This was done to increase entries for those two classes that need attendance help.
The rules state electric has to run as many pits as nitro but the very reasonable Mr. Epps ruled...
I would like to replace the brushes in my old Jade 15 Turn motor made by Trinity. I went to the local hobby shop and the kid there looked at me like I was crazy. He had no idea what I needed or where to find them. Does anyone know what brushes and...

I have TONS of brushes is you wish. The high silver content brushes are very good for power, high temperatures, and brush life. However they are hard on the commutator. Softer or low silver brushes are better on the comm but usually wont last as...
