Losi is across the street and down a block....

Post by fordtransman »

I just did a "mapquest" search for LOSI's headquarters as soon as I realized the address is in the Same city that I am in....and the street name is familiar.

Guess what?

Per Mapquest:

6 mins / 2.62 miles

I went to school with Gary Kye's son Kyle... he and my brother played football together. He is still around. I saw G. Kyes 2 years ago when I was at RCX in Pomona. Of course he was showing my son the Rockcrawler stuff.

I had a LOSI SE chain drive (bought used) and destroyed it...

But I was a fan of the AE product (Still am)

(And I realize that the "L" part of my RC-12L was named for Gil Losi Jr.)

That's cool. When stationed in San Diego, JT was just down the street from the field we played at. Walked in with a question about my paintball gun and they practically rebuilt it in less than a hour...for free. Hopefully you can have similar luck with Losi.

How funny.. Everyday as I take the transition road from the I10 East to the I15 south, that big white building out my passenger window has been Losi all this time.

Wow..

Who knew?

(Everyone else that can use mapquest)

Dont feel bad, I've worked in and around that area since '89 and I didnt know it either.

As a side note, when I go to my daughter's school, I drive past Edinger Ave :), but that is a horse of a different color.
