Just picked up an RC10Ce last night that was built but never had any more electronics put in it than a steering servo. Its a 6 gear transmission and says "A" on the back of the chassis. Needless to say its perfect! Will snap more pictures later when I get home of it. I bought it in an effort to restore my RC10CE with the stealth transmission. I guess thats not happening though.

I love these cars and love the Stealth version even more for racing.
Great find and congrats!
If it were me, I wouldn't mod this one (A chassis) to accept the stealth transmission (B chassis holes), when you can easily just buy a stealth CE version.

She looks beautiful!
:D

Very nice!

I just scored a CE on ebay (not as nice as yours) that I plan on doing some vintage racing with at my local track.

Yeah im going to leave it alone. I guess Ill have to keep searching for a B chassis stealth trans car.
It came with this nifty book on how to hop it up and what I can do to make it look cooler, and be faster!

Cool :) Can you please post some scans of that?

Re CE chassis... there are both indeed, A and B's, mine has both stamps overlapping  with a 6G and the black shock caps... one of the very very last of the 6G ones. That transition to the stealth trans was a bit of a soft one, not a hard one!

Yeah I can do that tomorrow.

Is there someone I can email the PDF scan to to have them host it?

your best bet is photobucket I'd say... once you try it you can't go back!

After thinking about it, I think I may try to sell this one or trade it for a stealth trans car in the same condition as this one.

That may be hard to do. Just keep that one and build/buy a stealth CE. You need to start a collection like a lot of us head cases.
