I guys,

I caught a 870c in pretty good conditions in my opinion.
For a shelfer is some work to do,
the white needs a refresh, but more details later...
I´m wondering if I did a good deal.
Can somebody gie me details from the 870c via mail?
A little history would be great too, cos I´m a newbie in Yokomos...

Thanks

An old toothbrush and washing up liquid works as well as anything for the black parts and as an initial treatment for the white bits, you could then try this method for further whitening the caps but remember they were never bright white more a very light cream:-

Thanks man,
when I´m in the mod, I´ll read all teh 12 pages...
Must clearout my rcstuff (See´s) today first, so maybe tomorrow, after work.
It is very intersting with UV and hydrogen.
Ah, is the a special paintsheme for the 870c?
Think on a vintage racing paintjob, that would fit to the pink rims.

Hey folks,
good news so far, I grabed a Works 91.
Not NIB, new or unused, but in good conditions.
I plan to restore him as well.
Now I´m happy and waiting for the package.
I´ll post some pics also...
The only problem, I´ve to get another Works for a runner :D

Aren't those Works 93 steering parts?

As I said,
I bought it as Works ´91.
What´s the difference to the ´93 steering?
I will make a rebuilt thread, so you see some close-ups.
Maybe we can figure it out :D

Yes, except for the the steering pieces it looks like a 91 works and it should be very simple to change it back to 91 spec's as that is a much simpler setup.

Make sure you try and save both of those bodies, they are almost impossible to come by these days and there are no re-pros yet.

It's definitely a Works 91 (saying that I get a bit lost with the 92 version) with a few upgrades including the 93 steering set up.
