Tamiya F350 High Lift

Here's what I've been working on for the past week and a half. My new Tamiya High Lift F350. It's mostly stock, I added full ball bearings, RC4wd aluminum wheels, Juggster brush guard, a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor and I did some styrene work in the bed to fit a vintage APM aluminum Clodbuster roll bar. I don't know if I'll put the mirrors on or not, out of fear of breaking them off when I drive. I think this truck is just as cool as a Bruiser, but maybe a little slower. I can change that though.

I think I'll add some aluminum knuckles and aluminum shift servo mounts, and maybe do the front steering servo mod and call it finished. This is just a really well thought out kit, and I think it's best to leave well enough alone, without getting to carried away.

Yeah, I've seen that, it's pretty cool. The Diaz chassis is even cooler. The only thing is, the stock Tamiya chassis is actually looks more like a real F350 chassis than either of them. The 350 chassis doesn't curve up like those aftermarket chassis, and it's black of course. I thought about getting a Diaz, but I didn't want to spend a bunch of money to make my scale truck look less scale. If I was doing some wild super modified scale crawler, I'd definitely look into it.

Melvin, your Highlift tuned out killer. I really like those RC4wd wheels and thought about getting a set for my lift. Monotuning is running a smokin deal on their aluminum chassis.

It's a stupid silly price that you should get in on. I have one on my Highlift and it's sweet.
I also have the junfac chassis for my second Highlift.

I have had all the parts for a while now but I have been spending alot of time on my dirt bikes so I haven't had a chance to build it yet

Wow, that is a good deal. I still like the black finish though. I guess I could Krylon the thing.
Shodog, that project looks SICK!
I wouldn't mind getting some aluminum axles for my Highlift, to make it more Bruiser-like, but then I'd be afraid to drive the truck out of fear of scratching them up.

This is where I'm at about doing much with my HiLux. It was suggested to me to build it as I like, then only run it in the house, where it will stay clean and undamaged.
