Hi Guys,

was running my runner last night and i think i broke my slipper disks ( red- right disk below),
i think some debris went inside and somehow manage to chew some portion of the backing plate and the disks had left
some pretty bad lines in the slipper plates.

Just wondering which of the two is better? the yellow( left) or the Red ( right)? , tried searching it at tower but only can see the one for the b2-b3 disks. can you posts links as to where i can buy the red one? is this an AE or an aftermarket disks slipper for the Stealth?

thanks.

I am all for using new parts, but I have never seen a slipper disk wear out. Usually the disks get glazed, and don't work properly. This is an easy fix. Use a small piece of red scotchbrite to take the glaze off, and it will be good as new. You can also use a sharp razor blade or x-acto knife blade to carefully scrape the glaze off. as far as the pads are concerned, the red was the original version that came with the stealths. The yellow is newer, and supposed to be more resistant to glazing. Either way they both work. -Jeff
