Got me a LUNCHBOX!

Post by THE H.P FREAK »

HI!... Well I always wanted one of these when I was a kid. So I bought a new Tamiya "LUNCHBOX". It has a 540 silver can, full AVID sealed ball bearings. I just finished painting the body. Here's a few pics :

Being a big fan of the Lunch Box and Midnight Pumpkin I love it. Do they still give you extras of those little U-brackets so that regular shocks can be mounted?

Also do you know the trick to extend the wheelbase by a few millimeters? It cuts down on the wheelies some but weakens the back a bit where the gearbox mounts.

HI!... Yes they still give you the extra shock brackets and the plastic brackets to mount a mechanical speed controller. This LUNCHBOX is going to be a shelf queen, like my Grasshopper, Hornet, Bigwig, Blackfoot, and Madcap.

Still trying to find a Wild one and Fast Attack Vehicle.... and of coarse a Porsche 959.

I keep hopeing its on their Rere list I have tried to redo two, I am buying a NIB one, next time. the little extra money is worth not haveing to look for all of these little parts. and I think I had more than it would have been and I didnt even finish it before I traded it away.
