870c. Too much PINK???

With a spare 870c shell and wing just hanging around I figured i'd get busy painting.

While the colour scheme does not exactly agree with me I wanted to incorperate colours which would suit the famous hot pink 2.2" rims. Problem is now, do I go with pink or back to white???

I think that you are overanalyzing this.

It looks great both ways, although this might be a good situation to use different colors (e.g. white front pink back) front and back to good effect. It has the additional advantage of helping you quickly determine the orientation of your car in the far corner of the track after flipping or spinning out.

Great looking shell.

Boy Jason that looks really great... suits the era perfectly. Wear some suitable baggy fluoro clothes on the drivers stand, you're on it!

Jason, looks fantastic - stay with pink, you can never have to much pink on an '80s buggy :D

The pink looks great Jase.
I was a bit concerned but I reckon it looks cool with the pink wheels.
Leave the white ones for a different shell. :D :)

I don't see why you'd need to choose: I'd just put on the wheels with the right rubber for the track ... or where you going to have a pink car car on your shelf

Now, the real question what color shock boots to go with; pink, white or blue :?:

Looks like you like your steering extra aggressive with the link all the way near to the pivot.
Personally I allways try to use the most outward hole which allows for full travel and then select the according hole on the servo horn. The further both are from the center the less play you end up with at the wheels.
